Quality Analyst

Job Summary:
Review medical records requests for accuracy and invoice requests based off specified rate tables for MedRecs Management hospital and physical practice customers. Work with the MedRecs Management team to fulfill our mission of delivering secure and precise health information exchange (HIE) to help our customers remain focused on patient care.

Job Duties Include:

  • Acknowledge, accept and follow all HIPAA privacy and security laws
  • Validate third party contact information (e.g. email, fax number, address)
  • Compare request details to downloaded medical records
  • Confirm request and records details match
  • Notify processors and team leads of any records that do not match requests
  • Create invoice based on associated rate tables
  • Use MRM system to upload and send invoices and/or records to requestor
  • Use MRM system to look up and address questions from patients and third parties
  • Ability to type minimum of 50 words per minute
  • Maintain 1-2 day turnaround for requests
  • Upload and send 120-150 requests/day by day 60 of employment
  • Work with MRM management to track processing activity
  • Proactively communicate concerns and issues to MRM management
  • Work with MRM team to manage overflow customer needs
  • Recommend process updates to provide a better experience for our team, customers and patients

Client Communications Specialist – Job Description

Job Summary:

Communication is paramount to a successful relationship with our clients and their patients.  This position is on the front lines of that communication, answering calls and addressing concerns from patients.  In addition, communicating internally with the MRM team will make sure we meet the highest standard of customer success in our industry.

 

Job Duties Include:

  • Answer incoming patient calls and make outbound patient calls for multiple clients; gather missing information needed to process requests
  • Return calls left by patients, customers and third parties and provide updates to the caller regarding their issue
  • Resolve patient issues such as taking payments, address form fulfillment process and status questions, and getting additional details needed for form completion
  • Communicate with 3rd party vendors efficiently to provide updates of status requests
  • Escalate any issues needing attention to other MRM team members
  • Use internal software to provide status updates and send outbound communications to patients

MedRecs Management Disability/FMLA Client Specialist

Job Summary:
The Disability/FMLA Client Manager role reviews, evaluates, and processes Disability and FMLA forms for our healthcare clients including the completion of Short Term, Long Term and FMLA Paperwork for patients. This position assists our clients’ patients to complete disability paperwork to provide the necessary documentation in order to complete the patient’s specific needs, including disability insurance fulfillment and relief from work on both Short & Long Term basis.

 

Job Duties Include:

  • Acknowledge, accept and follow all HIPAA privacy and security laws
  • Validate all incoming requests for PHI and authenticate incoming PHI to protect patient data
  • Confirm and extract patient information in client EMR
  • Validate third party contact information (e.g. email, fax number, address)
  • Ensure disability forms are completed within 2-3 business days after request
  • Pull patient forms on a daily basis for request completion
  • Recommend process updates to provide a better experience for our team, customers and patients
  • Speak with customers regarding any concerns such as patient concerns, delayed turnaround times, etc

Provide accurate and efficient management of release of protected health information (PHI) for MedRecs Management hospital and physician practice customers.  Work with the MedRecs Management team to fulfill our mission of delivering secure and precise health information exchange (HIE) to help our customers remain focused on patient care.

 

Job Duties include:

  • Acknowledge, accept and follow all HIPAA privacy and security laws
  • Validate all incoming requests for PHI and authenticate incoming PHI to protect patient data
  • Confirm and extract patient information in client EMR
  • Validate third party contact information (e.g. email, fax number, address)
  • Processing medical records requests for audits
  • Use MRM system to securely manage and deliver audit requests
  • Maintain turnaround for audits within deadline
